Description
Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops
Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops moisturises and alleviates symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome and irritations, redness and eye fatigue caused by prolonged screen use, exposure to environmental factors such as wind, sun, dry air, salty water, smoke, dust, air conditioning and heating. They can also be used to prevent symptoms of eye irritation caused by contact lens use.
Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops contain 0.2% sodium hyaluronate, which due to its specific physical, viscoelastic properties and the ability to adhere to the cornea, improves tear film stability and restores comfort of vision.
Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops are preservative free, phosphate free, contact lens friendly and can be used for adults and children over one month of age.
Directions
Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops can be used daily, including with all types of contact lenses, as the drops do not contain any preservatives. It is recommended to apply one drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye 3-4 times a day. You can apply more often if needed.
In the case of using other ophthalmic solutions wait at least 15 minutes before the application of Xailin Plus 0.2% Eye Drops. The preparation should be administered last.
- Prior to administering the preparation wash hands thoroughly.
- Remove the cap and apply into the conjunctival sac of the eye. Do not touch the surface of the eye with dropper tip.
- Tilt your head back slightly.
- Hold the bottle face down (vertically).
- Pull your lower eyelid down slightly, pressing the bottle, squeeze one drop into the conjunctival sac.
- Close your eyelids and spread the drop across the eye surface by blinking.
- Repeat the same activities for the other eye.
- Put the protective cap on the dropper after use. During application, be careful not to touch the surface of the eye and eyelid with the tip of the dropper.
- After applying the drops, do not rinse the surface of the eye with water or any other liquid.
Ingredients
Sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, glycerin, sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, highly purified water.
Cautions
- Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any of its components.
- If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.
- Do not apply in the case of bacterial, fungal or viral inflammation of the eye.
- From the date of first opening, use no longer than 30 days continuously and no longer than 90 days discontinuously (taking into account several days breaks during application).
- Discard of any unused solution.
- The preparation is intended for external use only.
- Do not use if package is damaged.
- Never touch your eye or any other surface with the tip of the dropper, this may contaminate the solution.
- Each bottle should only be used by one patient.
