VisuEVO Ophthalmic Solution
VisuEVO Ophthalmic Solution helps relieve the symptoms of dry eyes and can also be used as a pre-treatment for eye surgery, in order to help with the restoration of the lipid integrity on the surface of the eye. It can be used:
- For all forms of evaporative dry eye, to improve the stability of the lipid layer by reducing the evaporation of the aqueous phase, i.e. the tear film (which can be caused, for example, by prolonged use of computers, reading, driving, the use of medicines, ocular allergies and contact lenses);.
- For forms of dry eye caused by a reduced secretion of lipids from the Meibomian glands;.
- For cases of dry eye caused by a mucin deficiency;.
- For cases in which dry eye has worsened as a result of the use of preserved eye drops.
VisuEVO Ophthalmic Solution is an innovative formula containing omega-3 essential fatty acids, Vitamins A and D and ultra-filltered phospholipids to reduce excessive evaporation of the tear film:
- Vitamin A and phospholipids are natural constituents of the tear film. Their antioxidant action prevents damage caused by reactive oxygen species and facilitates homoeostasis and the retention of the tear film, as well as the control of its evaporation.
- Omega-3, Vitamin D and Phospholipids improve the osmolarity of the tear film, protecting it from inflammatory conditions caused by excessive evaporation.
VisuEVO Ophthalmic Solution is supplied in a preservative-free multi-dose bottle and can be used while wearing contact lenses.
Directions
If you are using other eye drops at the same time, it is recommended that you wait at least 10 minutes after administering other medications before administering Visuevo.
The product can be applied while wearing contact lenses.
Instil 1 drop of Visuevo® into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day or according to the instructions of your ophthalmologist.
- Hold the bottle just under the cap and turn the cap to open it.
- Instil 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye by gently pulling down the lower eyelid and looking upwards.
- Dispense the product by gently squeezing the bottle.
- Close the bottle immediately after use.
- The solution can continue to be used for 60 days after the first opening.
Ingredients
Liposomes from soya phospholipids, algae oil (DHA+EPA), Vitamin A palmitate, Vitamin D, disodium EDTA, PEG 400, Boric acid, Sodium tetraborate, buffered isotonic buffered with pH 7.20.
Cautions
- Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its components.
- If you have any adverse reactions, discontinue the use of the product and consult your ophthalmologist.
- Close the bottle well after use.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
- The product remains sterile for 60 days after first opening of the bottle.
- Wash your hands before applying the product.
- Do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
- Do not use the product if it has been damaged.
The expiry date indicated applies to the unopened, correctly stored product. - Keep the product away from sources of light and heat and out of the reach of children.
