Tubifast 2-Way Stretch Elasticated Viscose Tubular Bandage is the world's first and only lightweight elasticated tubular bandage with radial and longitudinal stretch. It can be used for fixation anywhere on the body and holds dressings securely without constriction or compression. There is no need for tapes, pins or ties and is particularly suitable for holding dressings in place on difficult areas. The high-tech bandage can also be used for patch wrapping and as an under-cast stockinette.
Tubifast 2-Way Stretch Elasticated Viscose Tubular Bandage is made from rayon with very fine elastane threads knitted into the fabric to provide light elasticity, allowing patients complete freedom of movement. The light, open weave fabric allows air to circulate over the skin, helping to avoid maceration. Its design ensures that there is less risk of fraying than traditional tubular bandages.
Tubifast 2-Way Stretch Elasticated Viscose Tubular Bandage is available in a range of five widths, designed to fit snugly over all limbs, no matter what the size or shape. Each size is identified by a colour-coded line knitted into the bandage. Simply cut to size and stretch over the dressing for an even, non-constrictive fit.
