Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C 100mg Lozenges
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C 100mg Lozenges relieve the symptoms of mouth and throat infections in adults and children aged 6 years and over while providing a source of Vitamin C which may be beneficial during an infection when Vitamin C levels are believed to fall. They contain two mild antiseptic ingredients which kill the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections.
The action of sucking the lozenge allows the active ingredients to work in the area of the discomfort and also helps to lubricate and soothe the painful area to relieve soreness and discomfort.

Directions
Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C 100mg Lozenges are for short term use only. You should take the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms.
Adults, children over 6 years and the elderly:
Adults, children over 6 years and the elderly:
- Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours.
- Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
- If symptoms persist, have not improved, or have worsened after 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredients: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2mg, Amylmetacresol 0.6mg, Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid/Sodium Ascorbate) 100mg
- Other Ingredients: Menthol, Tartaric Acid, Orange Flavour, Propylene Glycol, Sunset Yellow (E110), Ponceau 4R (E124), Liquid Glucose, Liquid Sucrose.
Cautions
- Check with your pharmacist or doctor before taking Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C 100mg Lozenges if you are pregnant, think you might be pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C 100mg Lozenges contain sunset yellow (E110) and Poncreu 4R (E124) which may cause allergic reactions.
- You are allergic (hypersensitive) to 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol, Amylmetacresol, Vitamin C or any of the other ingredients.
- You are under 6 years old.
- You have an intolerance to certain sugars such as fructose, glucose-galactose or sucrose-isomaltose. These would normally be confirmed by your doctor.
