Peptamen Junior Liquid

Peptamen Junior Liquid is a 1.0 kcal/ml peptide based enteral tube feed for the dietary management of children aged 1-10 years with compromised/impaired GI function. It is a gluten free, partially hydrolysed, 100% whey protein formula with 60% of the fat as MCT and is nutritionally complete for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition.

Peptamen Junior Liquid is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and should be used under medical supervision.

Directions

500-2000 ml depending on child's requirement or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
Important to shake well before use.
Unopened, store in a cool dry place.
Once spiked, use within 24 hours.
Unused portion can be recapped, refrigerated and used within 24 hours of opening.
If poured out of the pack, cover tightly and use within 6 hours if at room temperature.

Ingredients

Water, maltodextrin, peptides from hydrolysed whey protein (milk), MCT oil, sucrose, soybean oil, minerals (calcium citrate, sodium phosphate, potassium phosphate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, magnesium oxide, ferrous lactate, sodium chloride, zinc sulphate, copper gluconate, manganese sulphate, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, chromium chloride, sodium selenite, sodium molybdate), starch, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, E471), thickener (E412),acidity regulator (E525), choline chloride, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, thiamin, riboflavin, A, folic acid, biotin, K, D, B12), taurine, L-carnitine, inositol.

Cautions

Not suitable for patients with a cows' milk allergy.
Use under medical supervision.
For enteral use only.
Suitable for children above 1 year of age.
Do not add food or drugs to the feed.
