Description
MSUD Gel
MSUD Gel is an unflavoured powdered protein substitute for the dietary management of maple syrup urine disease in children aged 1 year and over. It contains essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrate and a full range of vitamins, minerals and trace elements and can be mixed into a smooth semi-solid consistency that can be taken off of a spoon or mix to a low volume drink. The consistency is similar to other foods being introduced at this time, making it a simple choice for weaning onto a second stage protein substitute.
MSUD Gel is a food for special medical purposes and must be used under medical supervision.
