Vitamin D is important as it:
- Contributes to normal absorption and utilization of calcium.
- Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function.
- Contributes to the maintenance of strong and healthy teeth.
- Contributes to the maintenance of normal immune function.
- Has a role in the process of cell division.
- Helps reduce the loss of bone mineral in post-menopausal women, in conjunction with calcium.
Directions
Adults and children over 12 years of age: One to two tablets daily. Do not exceed recommended daily intake unless advised by a suitably qualified person.
