Effercitrate Tablets
Effercitrate Tablets provide relief from the symptoms of cystitis (inflammation of the bladder) by making the urine alkaline and reducing the irritation caused to the bladder lining. They are effervescent tablets that dissolve in water to make a pleasant citrus flavoured drink.

Directions
For adults and children over 6 years:
- Take two tablets dissolved in a glass of water up to three times daily, preferably after meals.
- Effercitrate Tablets will dissolve more quickly in warm water or if stirred.
- Do not take more Effercitrate Tablets than the dose recommended above.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredients: Potassium citrate 1.5g and citric acid.
- Other Ingredients: Saccharin sodium, lemon flavour, lime flavour, macrogol 6000, copovidone and magnesium stearate.
Cautions
Effercitrate Tablets are not recommended for children under 6 years old.

- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to potassium citrate, citric acid or any of the other ingredients.
- If you have heart disease, high blood pressure or have kidney disease.
- If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
