Disprin Soluble Tablets
Disprin Soluble Tablets can be used for the relief of headache, migraine, period pain, neuralgia, sciatica, lumbago, rheumatic pain, toothache, fever, sore throats and the symptoms of cold and flu.
Disprin Soluble Tablets contain the active ingredient aspirin which provides relief by changing the body's response to pain, swelling and fever.
Disprin Soluble Tablets can be used for the relief of headache, migraine, period pain, neuralgia, sciatica, lumbago, rheumatic pain, toothache, fever, sore throats and the symptoms of cold and flu.
Disprin Soluble Tablets contain the active ingredient aspirin which provides relief by changing the body's response to pain, swelling and fever.
Directions
Dissolve the tablets in water before taking.
Adults, the elderly and children over 16 years:
Adults, the elderly and children over 16 years:
- Take 2 to 3 tablets.
- Repeat the dose every 4 hours if needed, but do not take more exceed 13 tablets in 24 hours.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredient: Aspirin 300mg.
- Other Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Maize Starch, Citric Acid, Talc, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Saccharin, Crospovidone and Lime Flavour.
Cautions
- Do not give this medicine to children under the age of 16 unless your doctor tells you. This is because there is a possible association between Aspirin and Reye's Syndrome when given to children. Reye's syndrome is a very rare disease, which can be fatal.
- You suffer from haemophilia.
- You have or have had a stomach ulcer.
- You are under 16 (unless advised by a doctor).
- If you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- You are allergic to aspirin or any of the other ingredients.
- You suffer from asthma.
- You are in the first 6 months of pregnancy.
- You are taking any medicine, particularly:
- Anticoagulants (which thin the blood).
- Uricosurics (which promote the elimination of uric acid, e.g. medicine for gout).
- Medicine for blood pressure.
- Medicine for organ rejection after transplantation.
- Medicine for cancer or rheumatoid arthritis.
- Ibuprofen (painkiller).
