Care Haemorrhoid Relief Ointment provides effective relief from the pain and irritation associated with external piles. It contains lidocaine, a local painkiller to relieve pain and discomfort and allantoin which helps with the healing process.

Directions
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
If your symptoms have not gone away after 7 days of treatment, you should ask your doctor for advice.
- Wash hands before and after use.
- Wash the affected area with tepid water, dry and apply the ointment directly to the pile with your clean finger, gauze or lint.
- Re-apply the ointment as required.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.

Ingredients
- Active Ingredients: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 0.5% w/w and Allantoin 0.5% w/w.
- Other Ingredients: White Soft Paraffin, Wool Fat and Purified Water
Cautions
- Care Haemorrhoid Relief Ointment contains wool fat which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- An allergy to any of the ingredients.
- Have persistent pain or bleeding from the anus (especially if there is a change in bowel movements).
- Have a swollen stomach or you are losing weight.
- Are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding. Lidocaine, one of the active ingredients, can be absorbed through the skin and pass into breast milk.
