Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup

Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup is a soothing syrup which relieves the symptoms of dry, tickly coughs in children aged 3 months to 5 years. 

Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup is apple flavoured and sugar free.

Directions

  • Children 3 months to 1 year: One 5ml spoonful.
  • Children 1 to 5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls.
Give the dose 3 or 4 times within 24 hours, if needed. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

  • Active Ingredient: Glycerol 0.75ml per 5ml.
  • Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Maltitol Liquid (E965), Citric Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Citrate and Sodium Benzoate. The flavouring is apple.

Cautions

  • This product contains maltitol. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before using this medicine. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes.
  • Maltitol may have a mild laxative effect. Calorific value 2.3 kcal/g maltitol.
Do not give your child Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup:
  • If s/he is under 3 months old.
  • If s/he is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before giving Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup:
  • If your child has an intolerance to some sugars.
