Description

AYMES ActaSolve Delight

AYMES ActaSolve Delight is a nutritionally-balanced, dessert-style supplement for the dietary management of adults and children over 6 years with, or at risk, of disease-related malnutrition. Based on skimmed milk powder with added carbohydrate, fat, vitamins and minerals, when reconstituted with whole milk each serving provides 302kcal and 11.2-11.3g protein.

AYMES ActaSolve Delight is available in 3 flavours - butterscotch, lemon and mixed berries, and as a starter pack that contains 3 sachets (one sachet of each flavour) and an AYMES shaker. All flavours are suitable for vegetarian, gluten free and halal diets.

AYMES ActaSolve Delight is a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) and should be used as a supplement to the diet, not as a sole source of nutrition.

Directions

Suggested intake: 1-2 servings a day unless otherwise indicated by the clinician or dietitian.

Instructions for mixing AYMES ActaSolve Delight:

  • First, add 75ml of whole milk to a bowl, and then the contents of one sachet of AYMES ActaSolve Delight.
  • Stir the powder and milk together then whisk vigorously until fully mixed for at least 30 seconds. Itis important to whisk vigorously as this will ensure that the product mixes evenly.
  • Leave to stand for at least 15 minutes* to allow it to set.
  • Consume immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

AYMES ActaSolve Delight may also be prepared in a shaker:

  • First, add 75ml of whole milk to the shaker, and then the contents of one sachet of AYMES ActaSolve Delight.
  • Shake vigorously until fully mixed for at least 30 seconds. It is important to shake vigorously as this will ensure that the product mixes evenly.
  • Decant into serving bowl or glass if desired.
  • Leave to stand for at least 15 minutes* to allow it to set.
  • Consume immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Timings can vary slightly depending on the temperature of the milk used. We always recommend using chilled whole milk.

*Once set AYMES ActaSolve Delight will continue to thicken further on standing.

  • Due to the thickening nature of AYMES ActaSolve Delight on mixing with liquid / secretions, the powder presents a potential risk of aspiration / asphyxiation if inhaled / ingested directly.
  • Not suitable for patients with soya or cow's  milk intolerance or for those with galactosaemia.
