2San Bowel Cancer Test
Noticed a change in bowel habits or have unexplained weight loss? Use 2San Bowel Cancer Test to test for hidden blood in the stool, an early sign of bowel cancer with results in just 5 minutes.
2San Bowel Cancer Test is an immunochemical faecal occult blood test (iFOBt or FIT) that looks for tiny traces of blood in the stool that aren’t visible. Blood in the stool indicates there is bleeding in the digestive tract which can be a sign of bowel cancer, or another medical condition, such diverticulitis, an ulcer or polyps. 2San Bowel Cancer Test test accurately detects low levels of hidden blood in the stool, providing a rapid, accurate screen (99.1% overall accuracy when compared to another commercially available FOB rapid test) before you have symptoms, giving you the best chance to seek medical help early.
A positive result for faecal occult blood does not necessarily mean that you have colorectal bleeding but you should visit your doctor who should consider the result along with other clinical information.

Cautions
The test should be used only for in vitro diagnostic purposes and should not be used after its expiration date. Also, avoid eating, drinking, or smoking in the area where the specimens or kits are handled. The used test should be discarded according to local regulations.
If the control line fails to appear, it means the test is invalid. This could be due to insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques. You should review the procedure and repeat the test with a new kit. If the problem persists, stop using the test kit and contact your local distributor.
The kit can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30 °C). The test cassette must remain in the sealed pouch until use, and it should not be used beyond the expiration date.
